Performance Appraisal Management in A Malaysian Secondary School

The purpose of this study is to explore the implementation performance assessment in one Malaysian public secondary schools. Topics like what a appraisal; goal having appraisal school; processes for conducting at benefits how affects school improvement; ways improve common problems with are explored. There six respondents have been selected case including principal and teachers from an urban Malaysia. Eight open ended questions developed interview session two teachers. Data were collected personal in-depth group interview. results revealed that important track teachers’ productivity, their career, provide brighter career pathway help job quality. Teacher other hand thought should stringent criteria fair evaluation. It recommended process need highly cooperation two-way communication between both parties
